The burgers at BBJ are delicious.
Made with fresh, local ingredients, cooked to order.
You can upgrade to premium toppings like goat cheese and portobello mushrooms, melts in your mouth.
The portions are huge definitely a man sized burger. Fries and onion rings too.
I have never seen such huge onion rings before. Beer battered and fantastic.
Price, very reasonable for the sizes you get. I think it was $4.50 a burger to make it a combo it was $6.50.
You pay more at the other “big chain” burger places in town and still feel hungry afterwards.

Been here several times already and the service is great! Staff and owner is super friendly. LOVE the fish tacos and deep fried cauliflower.

I went in a short while ago, and fell in love. The service is something very special. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
As for the food.
I had chicken coconut soup, followed by Scallops and risotto.
It was one of the top 3 meals I've ever experienced.
It is a little pricey, but if you feel like treating yourself, or you're trying to impress your date, this is a great little spot.

I ordered a chicken club and half way through making it the chef walked out through the front door, went next door to the local cheese mongor and bought more cheese for my sandwich. Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Barrie. Love it. Great job Mom's!!!!

Was at Blue Mountain over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend and came across this place. Had read a couple reviews online and was apprehensive of the place but some friends said to try it myself, so I did.
The service was great and the food was better than most in the Village at Blue Mountain. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, everyone was very helpful and the prices were reasonable, given the resort environment. I wouldn't hesitate to return and/or tell my friends to check the place out. We went back later in the evening and had a great time dancing and kicking back, as well...
