This company when dealing with insurance carriers does not budge on making the innocent party involved exempt from leaving a deposit (i.e. a credit card). Lets remember folks you're dealing with people that have experienced (sometimes) more trauma than you suspect and don't need the additional financial burden when the Insurance Company is covering the costs 100%. Turning down potentially 3 months rental because of being unable to give you a credit card (even your dad's) is just asinine.
All rental companies demand a credit card to rent a car, even in the case of insurance rentals.
Insurers will never cover 100% of the rental.
They will not covers excess damage to the rental vehicle. They will not cover parking tickets, red light camera fines or electronic tolls.
They will not cover fuel and excess mileage.
