The Service Rep (Gerry) at Hyde Park, Rd. London, ON location, was both RUDE and INSULTING to an elderly man waiting in line. We have been dealing with Canadian Tire for our personal & business auto needs for over 12 years. Due to the manner in which this employee spoke to people waiting for service I/we will not return. Respect goes a long way..... Gerry had NONE! Terrible experience!
Highway robbery! I went in for an oil change (free coupon). After an hour, I was told that the passenger side ball joint is loose and might cause an accident. I requested for another schedule since I have another appointment in the next hour. I was told that they will assign two technicians to work in the vehicle in order to expedite the process and the work including alignment will be done in 1.5 hours. After 1.5 hours, the technicians have not removed the part!
Took my car to have a rear shock mount replaced. I looked into what comes in the shock mount package after installed, they reused the old rusty nuts instead of the new ones that come in the package and they tried to up the price once i was at the cheque out.
Took my car to have the snow tires put on. They told me the tires were "too old, cracked and the nail could not be repaired. They said they needed to sell me 4 new tires.
Took the car for another opinion. The nail was removed, tire repaired, no cracks in the other tires, plenty of tread left.
