First time going to this place after seeing 4.6 rating.
I was surprised to get a quick booking, i.e. 4 days later from the day I called.
When I brought my golden doodle, they checked him thoroughly to see the level of matting he had and how long they could keep.
I can understand it's not easy to estimate the level of matting, and they had to trim him down completely. All good up to this point.
But when I went to pick up my doggo, I was charged $60 extra for dematting!?!?!?!?
I booked & usually it takes 1hr to get groomed.When I got there they said though it takes 1hr I was looking at a 4+hr wait- a staff had not come in. I said I'ld have to rebook b/c I was on a tight timeline that day. They said if I rebook I would have to pay a fine of 50% of a session cost. So I confirmed that "even though your staff is not in & this delay is of something out of my control I would have to pay a penality-for your error?" & they said "Yes, I can go ask but the owner will make you."
I recently discovered Catty Canines Inc. I adopted an older gent who was exclusively outdoors and neglected. He is 10 yrs old. Great place for cat grooming in Edmonton. Super close to my place in Sherwood park. I've been taking them here for a year, and Chelsea is always super great to work with. Right besides G&E so it's one trip for all my pet stuff.
