The food was oh so good! The service was excellent! We really loved our server Cristel, so very polite and pleasant. She even asked to take my coat when we entered the restaurant. My wife is trying to cure me of the habit of ordering a dish just because I don't know what it is or I have never had it before. More often then not it turns out to be a disappointment. Tonight I ordered the bavette (flank) steak. It was just okay for me as it is a tougher cut of beef, but that's my fault. Everything else we had was really good, my wife thought the Sante Fe chicken was exceptionally good. Overall, a good experience and I want to go back again and try something else. Read more

Crispy salads, awesome bavette steak and very good fries, tasty no too panned fish n chip. Add on top very good service that care to check often if everything's allright and unexpensive beer. It is a very good example of a small place with no pretention where you can go back many times as long as your expectations stays relative to a small place. We hit up Arlequino for the 2nd stop on our downtown pizza crawl. The Napoli pizza's crust was very thin with crispy edges and the sauce had a fresh and sweet tomato-y flavour. Arlequino got this pizza right on all accounts making it the highlight of the night. As for the Torino pizza, fried egg whites replaced the sauce on the same thin crust. The truffles and parmesan work very well together, but it just gets too rich. Not your everyday pizza and you certainly feel something is missing. We did enjoy Arlequino's sleek décor, and it did score the best pizza of the night, so we are certainly looking forward to coming back. Read more

Morty's Steakhouse is truly a gem. I live in New York, but always look forward to visiting Montreal and going to Mortys. Their food is delicious and the setting is great. I recommend Morty's to everyone I know. The steaks are out of this world and they also have a wide selection of Fresh fish, chicken and other dishes for those who don't enjoy steaks. Their salads are also great, especially the Thai salad and the Portobello salad. Leave room for dessert because they are truly amazing. The service is also very warm and hospitable. Good job Morty!
