I found Super Mario's last year and have visited a few times. IF you are looking for a nice dine-in experience, this is not the place. (Having said that, there is only one other pizzeria in town and they don't have any sit down service. Everything else, however, is great!
I met the owner, Mario, and he's a true blue (or should I say true green and red) Italian! You can taste Italy in every pizza pie made.
He has good staff, most of them high school students that really seem to know their jobs. Most of the time I order for myself and they have always been very efficient. I have picked up an order for a family meal and the family all liked it.
I don't eat pizza too often however when I have a craving for pizza, Super Mario's is it!

I remember going here when I was a teenager & my Mom worked in Fort Erie. Upon returning to the Niagara area in 2015 & 30years later, I continue to enjoy the Barrel weekly with my kids, whether it is eating in or delivery! My friends and I went for a late lunch, we thought that we would make "do" with whatever they had left over, we were kind of lingering at the bar, because we didnt want to seem obtrusive...However we were warmly welcomed and encouraged to sit at a table, clean & spottless after which our server came to us with menus, water, & suggestions!! we ordered the margerhita pizza, caesar salad with chicken & an order of bruschetta...the food was served to us by a very gracious man, whom we later found out was the owner!! How refreshing was that, the other guests, patrons, regualars & staff went about their business & gave us the utmost attention, felt like we went to an old friends house for lunch, gave us all a feeling of warmness, & we felt connected to everyone!!!!!! I love this place!! will be going back for dinner very soon !!!

I have been meaning to write a review since November. I hadn’t been to Julia’s in a while and my husband and I were looking for a restaurant to take some friends from Toronto. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical and thought perhaps something had changed since we last there. We decided to take out friends there anyway (on Saturday November 20) and couldn’t have had a more pleasant dining experience. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very good. We enjoyed it so much that my husband and I went back there for New Years and had another evening of wonderful food and a cozy table.
Every time I have been to this restaurant I have had a very positive experience and would not hesitate to recommend Julia’s to others.

REALLY EXCELLENT PASTAS! GREAT PIZZA!! REALLY GOOD CALZONE! Waitresses are really attentive and good as well. We Were So Happy to Find a Good Italian Restaurant. Not Fancy, but Good Food. We don't live in Hamilton, but drove there as heard it was a "good restaurant'. Well it was sooo good we went back the Next Friday Nite as Well! Pasta's were very fresh, cooked Al dente, and the Salmon (cream sauce with Salmon) Was EXCELLENT. Salmon super tasty and fresh!! and alot of it in the Pasta!! Ordered 4 cheese Pizza - shared it - it was really good! Ceasar Salads were ok, no compaints. Waitress gave us really good suggestions.. knew the menu well and suggested some popular (and her favourite items). We were impressed. She even was ontop with her wine selections... lol. Young girl, but ontop of her game!
Only down side, is it can be a bit noisey. There was a large party at the end of the restaurant - and the kids were loud, as were the adults. No separation from the others... so made dinner conversation a bit challenging. However the second time we went there - no large party - and the sound was fine.
My husband ordered a dessert - red velvet cake he said it was excellent..! Enjoyed every bite. DEFINATELY WILL RETURN! GOOD FOOD , GOOD VALUE, GOOD PRICE!!!

Went here for lunch but will not be back.
I must say the food here is very good.
Unfortunately the Service Manager or Waiter is very pushy and will invite himself into your conversations. He invited himself to sample our food (which we declined), he kept trying to hit on us, and stood over us until we ordered. In addition, there were 4 gentlemen just standing around the bar looking around the whole time. It was annoying.
I am Italian and have been to many great Italian restaurants, but this is not one of them. It has great potential, great decor and great food but lacks in customer service. I really do hope they change it around.
