Tout le monde connaît l'endroit à cause des "Obama Cookies" (qui sont d'ailleurs excellents - tout comme le reste de leurs biscuits), mais l'endroit offre aussi un éventail de pains des plus impressionnants. Leurs pizzas sont également très bonnes. Bien situé, dans un quartier vivant. L'arrêt parfait entre deux boutiques!

I have always found Tait's to have excellent pastries. Their carrot cake is to die for!! For a nice place to go for a coffee and treat I would choose here for sure.
They do excellent wedding cake decorating too. I used them for my wedding cake 20+ years ago and highly recommend them.

It is like stepping back in time..where else can you order a soup and a half sandwich so that you have room for that delicious butterscotch pie?
The place is extremely clean and the staff is courteous and caring. I try to get there at least once a month...certainly worth the drive from Ottawa!
