I stopped into Boston Pizza on a Thursday night drawn in by their board out front advertising $0.50 wings in the bar. Unlike most wing-deals these wings were very meaty and a good size. Everyone in my group was also very impressed with the service and couldn't help but notice how good looking, lively and knowledgable the staff was. Compared to the BP's that I'm used to going to in the city, this small town restaurant was VERY impressive. The staff does a good job promoting the different food/drink specials that are going on every day of the week (wings tuesday and thursday and cheap domestic beer monday night etc.). Read more

one of our usual food places, as we can walk to it, and the food is good. The owners have a great attitude (desert first for the kids!), are very friendly, as are the staff. ( Only thing I would change is maybe the menu could change up a little more often.) Just an example-my 5 year old came in holding a birthday card she received in the mail that day, and we were going for lunch. The owner came and talked to us for a bit, engaging my daughter in a little talk, then after lunch, the whole serving staff, plus owner, came out of the kitchen singing happy birthday to my little girl, with a free plate of deserts, with her name written in chocolate. Today was the first day I had been there in years, and things have changed... For the better :) I took my children there so they could see the streetcar like I did when I was younger. All of the staff was warm and welcoming, the streetcar was closed when I arrived but they overheard my childrens disappointment and opened the doors just for us. We were served promptly, and our food was ready in no time. Which I know for me is important when you take out your kids cause they can be soo impatient. My burger was cooked just the way I like it and my cheese was actually melted on which doesn't always happen in the fast food business. The onion rings were a little different than what I remember but they had a good combination of a crisp outside and a soft batter inside. My kids had more of my shake then I did but they seemed to love it lol. I will deffinately be goin back this summer on my way tothe cottage, it's so worth waiting for. Oh. Before I forget, parents be warned they don't have kids burgers, only nuggets which I thought were actually a great portion size. Oh and they're a cash only business they have an ATM, the only annoying thing about stopping in was the people in front of me in line didn't see the signs that clearly say cash only and held every one up. They have a very inexpensive lunch menu and a quaint dining room if you don't opt for take-out. The service is nothing spectacular as far as dining in goes but it is passable. Mostly excellent food here. Had one bad lunch where we were not impressed with the food taste on a few items. Off day? The other dozen visits food was excellent! Recommend the feta and spinach frittata! The included fruit tidbits are typically really fresh and tasty too. Service is good, friendly and fairly quick food delivery.
