Last night we decided to go out and try a restaurant we had never been to before. My husband said he felt like Indian food so we decided to try Curry's. What an enjoyable experience! Starting off we were presented with refreshing lime water, the decor was very classy with low lighting and Indian music faintly playing in the background. Our candlelit table was soon laden with scrumptious food starting with an appetizer called Onion Bhaji, six pieces of shredded onion breaded with spiced chickpea batter. Since we follow a vegetarian diet, we decided upon Vegetable Tandoori Masala as our main course. The spicy curry tomato was paired with fresh hot green chillies, spices and vegetable pllao creating an authentic Indian flavor. "Best curry I have ever tasted" was my husbands comment. Our waiter was very polite and attentive and filled out stainless water glasses on numerous occasions with a smile. I would highly recommend Curry's Restaurant for anyone looking for high quality Indian fare served in a fine dining setting. Read more

People are very friendly, helpful and honest. My husband inadvertently dropped a $20 bill and two weeks later upon our return he had the money returned which he hadn't really missed. Most food is locally sourced and the beer has a local theme too. Sonita tries to get beer from within 100 miles of the pub, and a lot of the food is sourced from the same area. The menu is upscale pub food with a seasonal twist. Spring Leek Salad, Local Lamb, Crab Apple Salad, fondue with cheese made with local beer, etc.I usually get the fondue as the portion is huge and it is about $10.00, or I get wings in the evening when they are half price. FIre and ice are great!The place has a large patio which is usually fairly busy. Inside, it is typical pub decor with a homey feel to it. Pub quiz night is a solid night to go on to get to know the owners and regulars. I find it better to go to the bar to order your drinks, as table service can be a bit lacking. Taps total 20, including Railway City, Stratford, Creemore,Black Oak, Great Lakes, Steamwhistle, and the bottle selection is limited but has included many micros. I’ll return for the harder to get Ontario micros they seem to always get. Worth checking out. Read more

I get lunch at Nooners several times a week and have done so for at least 10 years (usually take-out). The food is always delicious - very fresh and homemade. Their soups and sandwiches are especially good (and the cookies....). I find the staff are always friendly, know regular customers by name (and their usual orders) and are very efficient despite the large number of people who are there for lunch every day. I do not think there is a lunch place anywhere else in London that can match Nooners for quality, speed and value. Read more

Went here with friends. They been here before My wife and I had not. Our server ask if we been before and then helped us on some questions we had about the menu. Dave was very helpful with our decisions. He did not rush us and was very patient. Our english is not great but he was able to understand and help us with deciding. The wrap and roll platter was a great taste of different items and coconut shrimp was very good. We order many different dishes to try and share. Dave mentioned they were big portions and he was right. We had lots of leftovers for next day. The decor was very nice and relaxing. not very busy though.
