Our order took an hour to reach us but it was peak time on a Saturday night. The food and service was top notch and the complimentary Birthday treat was lovely. Attention all foodies! This restaurant is a MUST TRY!! We ordered the tasting menu (don't forget to give 24 hrs notice), it was absolutely incredible. Pricey but worth it! The portion sizes were huge, we could barely make it out the door. The wait staff is incredible, we were asked upon arrival what our preferred pace for eating was, quick or nice and easy....who does that? Most restaurants want you in and OUT! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, incredible food, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail! Barrie has about 7 good restaurants....this one's near the top!! Read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Barrie. We've been here many times for many special occasions. We always enjoy the food and experience every time we go. Today we tried his brunch menu and it was really good as well. We had the Eggs Benny and Breakfast Poutine, along with a side of the homemade onion and apple sausages. Delicious. Now if all brunch tasted like that I'd eat brunch a lot more often. Read more

There is a reason The Keg does so well. You always get great service, great food and great atmosphere regardless of which one you go to across Canada. This location is no exception. I have been to this place now at least 15 times over the past year and not once have I been disappointed. It seems they keep getting better and better and though my only issue is how impossible it is to get into on Friday and Saturday nights. Read more

We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. We went here tonight as a family for a simple family dinner. I am very impressed by the clean quiet family atmosphere. Then came the menus that were filled with very fair priced items for dinner for all of us. When dinner came out I was absolutely positively impressed. I go here all the time with my family. Wa all enjoy the great atmosphere and good service. The food is delicious! My son loves the selection of pastas, and my husband could have an affair with their ribs! Service is fast and efficient, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to receive each course. I absolutely love their desserts, their assortment of cakes is mouth-watering, especially the chocolate caramel almond cheesecake. Definitely a Cambridge-must. Read more

We took our two daughters to the Keg this evening and the food was very good. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were all warm and everything was very flavourful. The kids menu, colouring items and special details (fruit/veg right away) made it a great family location. Our only issue was the service. We spent a lot of time waiting for the server to come check on us and the kids started getting whiny. Read more
