This is the greatest Fish & Chips I have ever had. I lived in Shelburne and would go down to Orangeville just to eat here. I am actually going to stop in tonight an eat there. I ended up at this restaurant today because I was craving a pork souvlaki but have been constantly disappointed by anything in Etobicoke. I found it on this site – there were so many over the top reviews that I thought they must be phony. However, once I read the review where someone had an argument with the owner over coleslaw juice getting on their fries and said they’d never go back (but admitted it was the best fish and chips in Toronto) I knew this place must be good.
Well I didn’t have the fish and chips but WOW – I had the best pork souvlaki I’ve had in years. The Greek salad was simple with a really fresh dressing. Next time I’ll try the fish and chips for sure.

Seriously, best restaurant i have been to! Donatello on Elm in Toronto - the service was sooo good - made very special by our knowlwedgable server! The food - sublime! I highly recommend it! Great food; really interesting atmosphere. Spectacular drinks! The seats on the outside patio are tree stumps. There's live music too on some days. The menus come on a vinyl record. And I had pretty good service too. No lingering waiters but I saw them pretty often during the night. It's one of the few cozy getaways left in Toronto.

I always enjoy the menu at Milestones. I have one concern. The wine list unbelievably does not have ONE Ontario wine in its selection of wines that are all international. Its hard to believe that in our Niagara region we produce some of the worlds best wines at very good prices and Milestones doesn't have even one red and white available. Please correct this for your customers. Our group were mystified when they looked at the wine list and all agreed this was an oversight at a good restaurant.

I was here on a friday night te place is small and most likely family owned BUT the halibut and chips were delicious! The halibut is perfectly crisp and the fries are crisp but not overcooked!
An order of halibut and chips w/ a small order of coleslaw is $9.65 + tax which isn't bad at all! I will definitely be going back!

Even a snowstorm doesn't keep Toronto diners down, as we discovered last weekend at Jump in January. It was quieter than usual due to the weather, but our food was very good. We had an extremely affable waiter from England. The service started out a bit slow, with water poured and wine ordered but 25 minutes before some bread arrived. If we hadn't been so hungry beforehand we might not have noticed. Otherwise, the food was excellent. The Bacon-Wrapped Boneless Quail appetizer was absolutely delicious. The Wild & Tame Mushroom Soup was good, but as we told our server, it needed some cream to give it more depth and round out the taste. The Mahogany-Glazed Black Cod with Lentils was very good, and my partner had the delicious Beef Tenderloin. We'll come back again, but the pacing is a bit slow, so you can't be in a hurry if you're dining here.

This is the best fish and chips that I've ever tried in Toronto. (I went there on the advice of a friend and would have never have gone here without that recommendation).
It's a very unassuming place, with fairly drab surroundings. But the fish is top notch, with large portions at a good price. I don't really know what else to say besides that. It's fish and chips and it's GOOD.
(If it weren't for the location, I'd come back more often.)

I recently visited this restaurant and the quality of food was amazing. I I tried two popular dishes, a crispy chicken zinger and spicy fish. The food was FANTASTIC. Very fresh, well prepared food and the sauces complimented the food perfectly. There are a couple of different types of fish, and for those who don't enjoy fish there are also shawarmas and burgers. The 'chips' are cut fresh in the morning. 5 stars would recommend to anyone!

I met 02 regulars & they said the place is usually packed on Fridays--maybe the fog is keeping them away.
