I visited this establishment with some potential clients the other day and was taken back by the service we had. I must say the food was great, but what sets this venue apart from others, is quality of customer service we were provided with. The Manager himself made his way to our table and ensured we were happy with our orders, which we were. My clients who were from the States were happy and we also got a deal done. I have been to Lousiana last Summer and left with a bad experiance and thought of not going back again.. since all my friends forced me to go i went with them really I felt the difference comparing to my last vist.. its been newly renovated and a beautiful patio to relax and have a beer to chill out with friends. Staff really friendly and they have variety of food menu to decide on. They have a plate called land and sea which comes with lobster, Steak and shrimps which really value for money and good quality i was really impressed with the servise provided and i spoke to the Manager of Lousiana he told me how this was earlier and the new management is really working on with food quiality and provide great customer service... I will definelty go to Louisiana again and do recommand to my friends... WELL DONE LOUISIANA KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Love this place! My husband and I were looking for good fish and chips and we were quite satisfied. I dont really care what the place looks like on the inside as long as it is clean. They have a sign saying the health department has been there and checked the place out and they passed so thats alright in my books. I think some people are a little dramatic on here. I thought the portion size was perfect, So did my husband who is a large eater. How much food does one person really need? it is a bit pricey but it's worth it for a treat once in a while!

The seafood dishes are the best I have ever tasted, hands down.
Everything is made with passion. It is really hard to find that these days.
And of course the chicken is always a staple, I prefer rotisserie, but they have grilled chicken to which seems to be really popular.
Always call in your order though as this place can get really busy Fridays - Sundays.
Its no wonder I've seen Mayor Hazel pop in there so often, it really is the best value in Mississauga.

Their wait staff are still very green but they should improve as they grow. My tip for the wait staff, be more confident, stop apologizing for every little mistake and just be honest to your customers...we'll appreciate it.

I came to this restaurant for my father's birthday and the food was incredible. It is an authetic portuguese restaurant on James street in Hamilton. For an appetizer we had the Bruchetta, which is baked pizza style bread topped with tomato, onion and garlic. Yumm! For the dish I ate the Filete com arroz, which is fish filete with seafood rice. The dish cost $17 but was really cheap considering the amount of food that was provided. I will definetely return to this restaurant and recommend anyone to try this place. They have a large menu with many options. If you havent tried portuguese food or just love the food, you wont be disappointed at the Wild Orchid.

I go here fairly regularly because this place does it up right. It's not a huge place and gets packed fairly easily, so there have been times when I simply haven't gotten in, but you snooze you lose.
It is in an old victorian style home, taking up both floors. Downstairs seats a few tables and the main bar, while upstairs hosts a more casual atmosphere of games, chairs, etc....like you are in someones home. Decor is eclectic and funky, provides a nice touch to the visit.
Service is always good to above average, the staff are trained well, know their beers well enough, and are always smiling.
I've eaten here too many times to mention, but the wings are great, as is the cajun catfish sandwich. The wings are a great portion and the sauces are excellent. The catfish sandwich is spicy,savoury, very flavourful, well portioned, and well priced.
I like that they have Boneshaker on tap on a regular basis. In fact, they only serve craft beer which speaks to the quality of the establishment. Clientele is a mix of somewhat obnoxious college hipsters and hippies that think they are re-living Woodstock for some reason, but I don't have to like them to like the place. Keep up the great work! Great place!
