I attend this restaurant regularly mon-fri for the 3.99 breakfast deal and occasionally we go there for the chicken tenders platter for dinner. I love the service but only when Andrea serves myself and my wife, before that we had gone through waitress after waitress getting crapy service and leaving the girls without a tip as they would never come and check on us until it was time to pay, but when we learned we could request the waitress we wanted everything got soooo much better. This girl is on fire! she has a bubbly attitude and knows what you want when you want it. Shes the best waitress any restaurant could ask for and I wish we could clone her for other restaurants. The food is great and we love the french toast!! and OMG the honey dijon mustard is crazy and out of this world!!! order that with the chicken tenders and I swear you will be one happy customer! Decided to take my grandma out for dinner and thought that the Diana would provide enough variety to keep us all happy (grandma as well as our young children). We had an earlier reservation, but even as the restaurant got busier, the service was good and attentive. Our girls decided on the cheesy pasta (kids option). It came super quick and was served at an appropriate temperature for them to dig in immediately. So many restaurants place piping hot food in front of kids. I also ordered a side of steamed broccoli for the girls. While my kids gobbled it up, my only suggestion is that they work on it a bit. Seemed a little bit like pasta in milk with shredded cheese. But, as I said, my kids gobbled it up. I had calamari and a greek salad (both appetizers), my husband had the lamb medallions, grandma had the halibut and her partner had the vegetable pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The Diana offers an amazing variety (greek salad, pasta, steak, curries, etc) and we continue to go there as our default Guelph restaurant. In fact, we will be going back there for breakfast tomorrow morning with more family! Their chai is delicious! :) Read more

I’ve been coming here since they first opened.I have noticed changes in the food portions.Twice now I have ordered #140 Malaysian Seafood Laksa Rice Noodle Soup in extra-large.It is disappointing.The actual bowl itself is large enough to serve four people.The noodle portion can fill a small coffee mug, the entire bowl is just soup, or seasoned broth. After living in Mississauga for a few years, I always can't wait to be in KW for the Pho Ben Thanh's! Surprised to see reviews about inconsistency, they always exceed my expectations. I'll admit, when they first opened several years ago, some dishes would be made inconsistently, or different than other locations, but that all was resolved quickly. My favourites are Sweet and Sour Tamirand CHicken, Mango salad, Seafood Pad Thai, Grilled Chicken Vermichelli bowl, Pepper beef, Eggplant Chicken, Spring Rolls (Fried and fresh). I like to dine in with a bunch of people so you can order several dishes, and each get your own side of steamed rice to soak up the sauces from each dish. ALways fresh veggies, always great. Better food and selection than any viet-thai restaurant west of Toronto, definately. Oh, and don't forget to order a mango fruit shake, they are divine! Read more

Went here recently for a friday night out. Everything was perfect from the minute we walked in , until the minute we left. Our waitress, Maria , was outstanding. It was nice to walk in to a restaurant and be welcomed like family. We always enjoy the warm buns, it gives us something to munch on while waiting for our meal. We ordered the haddock and chips. The meal came out quick and piping hot. It was the best fish and chips we have had in recent memory. To top it off the apple crumble was exceptional. The atmosphere was not all that good, but all of those dissapointments were made up in the food. The food is phenomenal; there is nothing thats "adequate" about it. I work in customer service, so I understand that things don't always go as planned. It is how an establishment deals with their mistakes that really shows how good they are , in my humble opinion. We go to Swiss Chalet all the time, the food is always hot and delicious and up to the Swiss Chalet Standard, the service is usually pretty good, quick for sure and the restaurant smells good and is clean. We often order take out from this location, and we have had a few problems, orders not being filled correctly, no gravy for the poutine, little things like that. One time we ordered and they called back 30 minutes later to tell us there was a snow storm and the delivery person went home! Needless to say I complained. I got a personal response from the Manager appologizing for our bad experience and comping us for two 1/4 chicken dinners! WOW, I thought that was just great. I get that mistakes are made, but I have never had anyone take responsibility and compensate me so quickly and politely! Since then we have ordered a few times and we haven't had anymore problems. Had the apple fritters to die for ... we loved it, after a long bike ride from Cambridge to Paris...it's just what the doctor ordered.. We were greeted and were welcomed as soon as we came in and this place is a little jem.
