We had our community Diwali event this past weekend on Nov 4th at Bombay Palace Banquet Hall Brampton. The hall size and shape is perfect for any event. Beautifully decorated and very well organized. The food was delicious, the housekeeping staff as well as the manager was very humble and easily approachable. They took note of all our requirements and made sure they do a good job. We ordered 3 takeout meals for a get together at home - $13.50 each The food was ready in 30 minutes and was waiting for me when I arrived to pick it up. I got a 10 percent discount for picking it up rather than having it delivered, so the total came to about $41. The 3 meals were well-packaged and still hot when I got them home. Everything tasted great - just the way chinese food is supposed to taste. In particular I noticed that the vegetables were crisp - they had not heated up some old ingredients. And there was more than enough for everyone My only regret is that downtown Hamilton is in such bad shape that it affects business. There were only 2 parties of about 7 people in the restauraunt when I arrived to pick up the food. The place deserves better than that. Read more

My husband and I have been to Boo's twice. On both occassions we had a wonderful time and meal (as well as wine). The server was extremely gracious and considerate. He came to check on our meal a couple of times, but was not intrusive whatsoever (allowing for an intimate and romantic evening). The food was delicious. The servings were of good size (in our opinion) -- I was very full when I left, as was my husband. We had crab cakes for an appetizer - these were rich in real crab meat with little filler. As for mains, I had a salmon dish (the special) and my husband had Boo's signature dish (a steak). Ingredients were fresh, and there was a nice serving of vegetables (also flavourful and well done). It is a quiet atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We will definitely go back. Read more

I went to Chester's last Saturday and had a great experience! Our server Brenda has been at this location for 32 years I think she said! She was terrific and funny, not to mention that our drinks were NEVER empty! We enquired about the menu and I chose the Philli cheese sandwich which came with fries and house made coleslaw. It was great! The decor is awesome! We half expected the Rat Pack to come out and sing to us. Bathrooms need a reno but every thing else was spotless!
