Came here on the recommendation of our friends and were delighted. Pilsner Urquell on tap and they make strawberry dacquiris which my wife loved. We had heard so much about the Borscht we had to try it and were not disappointed. Since it doesn't have meat it's nice and light with delicious flavour. The gypsy schnitzel had a lovely homemade ginger lemon chutney on it and my goulash came with dumplings. The service was attentive and friendly. We'll be back as we didn't have room for the apple strudel on this visit. Read more

I recently retired from the GTA and moved to Lanark Highlands. We decided to try your restaurant last weekend. My girlfriend had the goulash and I had the schnitzel which was the second best I've ever had. The best was my late mother's. But you did come a very close second. The prices I found were reasonable and not overpriced as some patrons would lead you to believe. And if you complain about the wait, remember you're not eating at McDonalds. Yes! Talk about Asian Hospitality! If this is how all the Asian restaurants run outside of the GTA (particularly, Toronto, Scarborough, Finch areas), I am willing to drive further for it! Based on the reviews of this place, we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is really small, probably only about 10 small tables. The servers are very kind and attentive. It was a tad confusing as we had about three different servers throughout our lunch. The sushi chefs were not very kind, they seemed a bit put out, as if they didn't enjoy where they were. The seaweed salad and miso soup are amazing! I loved the way they decorated the plate for the seaweed salad, very cute! The sushi was really good, it came out quickly and it tasted delicious. I highly recommend the K-Rock roll, it is deep-fried to perfection! The only thing is that the K-Rock roll is about $12.95, but for eight pieces, it isn't too bad. Our total came out to $83 for four people, a tad pricey but, we polished all of the sushi, it was that good! I highly recommend this place, not only is the food good, the servers are very kind. Man Ling Restaurant is the only Chinese restaurant (except for 1 in Brockville) that I eat at, for a number of reasons: First all of their food is MSG-free, is fabulous and always fresh (nothing heated up from 2 hours ago). The best egg rolls ever and my favourite is beef and green peppers. I have eaten there over 25 times and it's always perfect. Hats off to Man Ling.
