Went out to Papa Joe's for breakfast a couple weeks ago at the recommendation of a friend. We were met with a friendly face and voice from the moment we stepped inside. The food was superb, the portions were huge (almost needed takeout), the service was top notch and the owner came over personally to check how things were. We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Simcoe last night and this was recommended as the best breakfast in town. It was a good breakfast but didn't live up to that recommendation. Coffee was very good; service was very quick. Very quick but our order was still served good. The waitress was very good about getting it heated up when we explained it was cold. Also delivered extra toast. Toast was very good...made from homemade bread. Peameal was very tasty but cut way too thin. Read more

Swiss Chalet Franchised first united in the year of 1954 and has been a Canadian favorite ever since. Swiss Chalet is known for its fresh on premise rotisserie chicken; the slow roasted chicken is also served with Canadian potatoes and simmering delicious Chalet dipping sauce. Swiss Chalet, is also known for its incredible tender grilled ribs, also served with sides of fresh cut fries, that makes Chalets food so delicious. Every Swiss Chalet location has a family orientated atmosphere. The setting consists of casual tables and booth seating as many as twelve customers, comfortable chairs and simple artwork covers the walls. We were lucky enough to be placed beside a warm brick fireplace, on a cold winter afternoon. As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by the host at Swiss Chalet on Dundas Street in Cambridge, Ontario. He led us to our booth within minutes, as the waitress made her way to our table. The energy around us from the staff, customers and store were welcoming, warm, and crucial to how comfortable, and suitable our lunch was going to be. The rotisserie chicken club wrap with fries, along with the rotisserie quarter chicken meal with whipped potatoes was ordered during our visit, with excellent service and time management. The server was friendly, engaged in conversation and interest of what we were ordering and how satisfied we were with our Swiss Chalet experience. Our overall experience at Swiss Chalet, the Cambridge location was delightful. We encourage many individuals to take their date, spouse or family to the nearest location for their next great dinner experience for delicious food, friendly service and comfortable setting. We have been enjoying Fusion since their original location here opened in 2013, and we loved it just as much tonight as we did back then and the times in between. Fantastic food, and they have made coming for the supper buffet even more reasonably priced than it was before. We especially love the pakora appetizers, butter chicken, naan, and some mango ice cream for dessert, but there is a good range of mild to hot meat and veggie dishes on offer.
