This restaurant is fabulous! I had dinner with my family and we all decided on different items. When the food got to our table, it smells wonderful and tasted even better. We all tried each other's dishes and we found the food exceptionally tasty. The ambiance was very friendly and the servers were attentive. It is really hard to find that these days. And of course the chicken is always a staple, I prefer rotisserie, but they have grilled chicken to which seems to be really popular. One of my favourite things is to go down to St Lawrence on a Saturday with a friend who is peameal or eggplant obsessed (you know who you are!) and convince them that "this week, we go to Churrasco St Lawrence, and next week we'll get yours". We never go for their sandwich, because they are always instant converts. All take-away, you can't miss with their huge Chicken Sandwich, what appears to be most of a chicken completely infused with the fantastic sauce with lettuce and tomato. With or without mayo. The sandwich is enough to give you a big grin and a full belly, but I usually find room for a custard tart, something akin to a creme brulee taste in a buttery yet flaky, almost phyllo-style shell. Yeah. They do full rotisserie chickens and a range of other foods too, but to be honest in 4 years I've never gotten past the sandwich. I'm hooked. If you've had a night on the town, a few bites into this mamma jamma and you'll be saying the same thing I am. Read more
