I am always a little wary when trying new sushi restaurants. But this place surprised me. In my opinion they have the best tasting Japanese food on this side of the bridge! Clean restaurant, good service, decent prices, big rolls and excellent taste. My husband said the Chicken Teryaki roll was the best he's ever had. The sunumono salad was amazing too. The place was very quiet, I hope more people try this place so they remain open! Good luck to the owners :)

Went there on short notice the other night with 13 people...they accommodated us and the food was delicious. we ordered one of every roll on the menu and then 6 more plus the veggie tempura. we have been back since with other friends and ordered again to take to a party..highly recommend this place...beautiful food made by beautiful people with outstanding personal service!

I was very surprised to find such excellent quality Japanese food in a small town like this. They have a large menu that even includes a fair number of dishes for vegetarians.
This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in BC. The quality of the food is very good and therefore the taste is delicious. The same quality restaurant would demand a premium price in Vancouver, so the dishes are an excellent value.
Presentation of the food is very nice and the chef obviously takes pride in his work. I inquired and the kitchen chef and the sushi chef are both Japanese. The flavour combinations in the rolls were harmonious and supremely delightful.
The restaurant is not crowded with tourists and the staff said that not many tourists make their way there. Obviously a hidden gem and now my new favourite.
