Visited twice in the last 10 days and LOVED IT. Once was a Saturday afternoon 12:30ish and it was very crowded but lucked into a seat once the food was ready. More recently was a weekday 4:30ish, much quieter but still a few patrons. Either way, food is made to order - might take 5-10 mins. but worth the wait and fun to watch. We have had a total of 2 little burgers and 3 regular (double patty) cheeseburgers so far and they are flavourful, well cooked but tender, so good you can (and want to) taste the meat itself. Buns are soft with a nice chew, sesame seeded. We kept it simple with lettuce, relish, pickles, ketchup but you can go crazy with wide selection of toppings. Fries are in peanut oil, gorgeous brown and slightly crisp but fluffy inside. Huge portion even for regular, as others have said. Nice to see Coke products in the machines and Heinz ketchup for fries. Great spirit among the staff, focused and attentive and seem to be happy to be there, which must be a compliment because the kitchen is wide open for customers to watch the whole scene. The place was kept very clean. There is nothing frozen on site, which explains the fresh taste. Very simple, straightforward menu. No need to consider combos and deals, it's burgers, add drink or fries if you want or not. Keep up the great work and please consider a second location in west end Kingston! Read more

Visited for lunch on Sept.15th 2010. The atmosphere is very nice in this restaurant, and the service was fast and friendly (thank you Lynn). While waiting for our food, my husbands sugar crashed and he felt horrible, sweaty, shaky, dizzy.. the staff noticed something was wrong and immediately sprang into action. Been a few years since we were at Raxx and were pleasantly surprised this week. Nice renovations make the place look brighter than before and lots of options for seating, pool tables, bar area, TVs, etc. Food was surprisingly good, particularly the chicken wings that were well cooked, perfectly sauced and quite meaty. This was not a Wednesday night so not sure if the wing quality is better/worse/same on the night that wings are discounted. It was a pleasure to have the option of blue cheese dip with real chunks of cheese in it. Wish more places served this with their wings and/or pizza! :) The salad was a huge serving and very fresh ingredients. The grilled chicken was finely shredded and nicely flavoured. I eat a lot of chicken and salad and this was a surprisingly good one. Red wine vinaigrette was a nice option too. Service was a bit slow for refilling drinks and for bringing out the food considering the place was practically empty but the order came exactly as requested including a couple of customizations to the salad. The menu is straightforward and not too complicated nor too many items. Could use a fewer lower-fat items but realistically I wouldn't expect to find much of that on a sports bar menu so not a big deal. We were quite surprised at the food quality and would come back.
