I rarely ever post reviews on anything so when I do it means a lot to me. Open Sesame is both my wife's and my favorite reasturant. The food is very good and I would highly recommend the buffet style stirfry as you get exactly what you want for a good price. The atmosphere is casual yet can still be romantic. It has a japanese theme with lots of character and style without seeming at all crowded. Pricing is good and the service is even better. I've been to a lot of restaurants in the calgary area but none are better for a nice casual night out for a couple. Read more

We visited Applebees Sunridge on a Sunday around 4:3pm. It seemed busy but we were seated quickly. Our server was pleasant & got our order correct. The appetizers came through quickly & were delicious. Our steak meals were cooked as requested & other 2 meals were perfect! We chose from the 3 meals for $30 1 appetizer 2 main & 3 for $35 again 1 appetizer 2 main. Fantastic value & great food & service. Pleasant atmosphere & nicely decorated. The lounge had sports on & many big TV's. Very happy! Read more

My only complaint about Fat Burger is that there aren't more locations in Calgary. Love, love LOVE their burgers and onion rings. This place really is a trait, it is definately far more expensive than your average fast food place, but I really wouldn't classify this as fast food. They make custom burgers, the the environment is really like a 50's diner. love it! Read more

Been to many different vietnamese restaurants throughout the city and found this to be the most authentic. Menu is easy to read and explains what every dish is and are rated based on popularity. Food taste excellent and is served in large portions. Service is also quick and waitress comes by frequently to check if anything else is needed. Very friendly staff and seems to know most people by name. Does however need a little bit more style and decor and maybe even a public bathroom renovation may be required. Otherwise great restaurant if you want vietnamese food. Would definitely eat there again!! Read more

If you are looking for a great place to meet up with friends to have some drinks and watch some sports, St. James Corner is the perfect atmosphere. It has flat screens positioned everywhere so you can enjoy the game and still socialize. The crowd is varies, it's not too young and not too old. The best part about St.James Corner for me is the food. Favorite menu items that are must: Mini Yorkies, Mini Sliders, Sweet Potato Fries, and the Nachos. Bathrooms are located downstairs but are always clean. The staff is very attentive and efficient. Read more
