I can't find the Waterloo location on this site but this review is about my experience there.
Went on a Wednesday with girlfriends for drinks and nibbles in the bar. The service was awesome and the food was pretty quick and very tasty. We shared spinach dip, antojitoes and nachoes and we were stuffed! We didn't know a band would be playing and it was an added bonus. We had a great time and have plans to make this our regular get- together hangout!Read more
Wild Wings serve up some of the most unique wings . The wings were quite delicious, there were MANY flavours to choose from. Very unique flavours such as Thai and Raspberry and Pineapple curry! However, they tasted quite ordinary, there wasn't a WOW factor. The service was great, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere was very fun.
Our bill was quite expensive though; we paid $40 in total for 20 wings and 2 small iced teas.Read more

Our first visit was out of curiosity, having driven by this establishment many, many times. Since we had had our lunch elsewhere in Kitchener, we decided to see what The Easy Pour was all about! We enjoyed a superb glass of red wine & we were served with great welcoming! Our second visit was to have an early afternoon "lunch" which again was decadent! The service was just as friendly and great as our first visit. We would reccommend The Easy Pour to all who like something unique!Read more

I visit this location on a regular basis since I live in the area! First time I visited this location, one of the bartenders asked my name, and remembered it the next time i visited! All of the wait staff are super friendly, and funny! This location has a lot of daily features and drink specials which me and my friends enjoy...Food has always been good, and if there is anything ever wrong or not up to my satisfaction the management and staff make sure it is dealt with so I leave satisfied. Overall great location, close to downtown core, and a good place for grill or pub type food and drinks!Read more

A Kitchener standby on Highland Road ... very busy all the time ... usually a 5-10 min wait ... but worth it ... the Asian lady who owns or runs the franchise has been there for at least 8 years and keeps things moving ... food always great ... for a down easterner (Halifax) ... it's always nice every now and then to have a feed of fish 'n chips (haddock every time) ... love the unlimited fries ... just wish the cole slaw side was larger ... that being said great food ... This is a gem of a restaurant, tucked into a strip mall. Eaten there three times now, and consistently the food is fresh, tasty, and well prepared. we went for a friend's birthday dinner. her and her bf love the place. they talk about it all the time. i have heard mixed reviews about the place.
going online and checking out menu didn't look too appealing to me. regular food with a high price and over stuffed with "expensive" words for simple ingredients
i had a glass of the Chardonnay from usa. excellent should have order 1.2 liter. i shared the sicilian mussel except made not spicy (don't like spicy food). the broth has aromatic and delightful. nice tomatoes, olives and onion broth. mussels were plump and tasty. the table bread was amazing. i usually steer away from bread because it is dry and garbage. but this was warm, soft and fluffy in the middle with a slight chew and crispy on outside.
i ordered the shrimp and scallop carciofi (fettucine) made without cream and with tomato instead. the pasta was cooked perfectly, scallops a bit fishy, shrimps were poached perfectly. a bit too much tomato but im a bigger fan of cooked pasta perfect el dente.
people sitting around me ordered veggie gnocchi (she loved it), short rib gnocchi (he wolfed it down and wanted more), prosciutto fuselli (she said pasta was amazing too slow portion and prosciutto tasted like bacon, pork chop dinner (thought it was amazing), smoked chicken el la vodka (he said was ok).
food was good better than i expected. a bit over priced but it was a friend's birthday.Read more
I went wit a group my friends a couple weeks ago, we were not sure what to order, individually or sharing?. the waitress recommended family dinner for 6B for us. We could even substitute other dish with the order. It was surprising fast and delicious! we had tasted variety food. Hot and Sour Soup is the best! I had never have such soup anywhere else. Also I like Mongolian Beef and Broccoli, Bean curd with Dry Hot pepper sauce. Very tasty! At end each of us only have to pay less than $13 for a full table of dishes!
since then we have been back a few more times!
the decor is nice, and a quiet place!Read more

We go to the Barley Works on Friday or Saturday nights after nine pm to play trivia. We have samples seveal of their menu offerings and really enjoy the perogies and spinach salad. April is a great bartender and we are never left waiting or wondering if we are being taken care of.
Worth the drive to Waterloo if you like a place to sit and play a bit of interactive trivia. So long as you don't mind that it is mostly a student hangout (and we "old fogies" don't mind at all).Read more
