I have been going to this eatery for 5 yrs now. It was really good at first when it was called The Bamboo then it was sold and it was just not the same. Now, it was sold again when it became Five Star Chinese Buffet. Now, it is better, pretty much like it was a few yrs ago plus they have the extra food items at the back on week nights that they only use to have on the weekends. It's a good place to eat. There are a large variety of dishes and all of the items arrived to our table piping hot. The service was quite fast and friendly. I wouldn’t describe the food as outstanding, just good. I was hoping that the dishes would have been more authentic Chinese. The Sichuan chicken with mixed vegetables was not spicy at all, a total disappointment. Being Sichuan, I was hoping for a spicy, hot dish. It was pretty bland. When I mentioned this to the hostess, she said that we could have ordered it spicy. This is the only place that we will order our Chinese food from. Food is always fantastic. Their Lemon Chicken is by far the best we have ever had. I definitely recommend adding that to your order.
