Growing up in Georgetown, Sushi wasn't exactly a mainstay in town. After moving back and finding more than one Sushi place in town, it was clear the town was changing and catching up to the rest of the world. Still...Sushi in Georgetown? I was skeptical... Walking into Yo-Yo's, it was like I had completely stepped out of town into another world. Nothing like I had expected. The service and atmosphere alone make this place worth visiting. Is it the best Sushi I've ever had? No...in fact, the other place in town is actually tastier (and all you can eat), but lacks the same charm that Yo-Yo's has. It's a little pricey, but worth it! And while I say the other place has better tasting sushi (my opinion), that's not to downplay this place...it's still fantastic food! Read more

We'd been to Malhotra's before and loved the food, service and atmosphere so we went again with another couple. Each pair of us got a serving of Butter Chicken and one of Bangkok Chicken to share. Next time I'm going to try channa masala and I'm sure my expectations will be far exceeded. The chef and his wife are lovely people, and the chef has always come out to see how we liked are meal. He's a classically french trained chef, so the food has this amazing fusion of Indian and French flavour. Absolutely delicious. They try to tone down the spiciness for first time visitors, so don't forget to tell them if you like your food hot! I don't think you can make reservations and the place is small but we haven't had a problem getting in. I've heard from others though that they lined up on a Friday or Saturday night. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and will definitely be returning. Read more
