This place is awesome!!! The restaurant is small but cozy. There was only 1 woman running the show up front and it got quite crowded by late afternoon, but I was impressed by her level of service. We had the mango salad which was bursting with flavor and very originally put together. Even my wife agreed it was deserving of 5 stars. I also love the fresh (not fried) spring rolls w/ peanut sauce. Pad thai came next and that was good as well. Finally, we had chicken Panag curry which was served with a side of rice. Also a winner. It must be Brampton's best kept restaurant secret. I didn't know La Capannina was open for lunch on weekdays and over the years I was repeatedly told they weren't. Upon discovering this we returned to enjoy an unhurried lunch built around their appetizers. I won't bore you with the details other than to say everything was perfectly executed. Chef Massimo is a perfectionist and sources only the freshest ingredients. A bonus, our waiter was relaxed and throughly professional. If you need a quiet place for a superior mid-day meal, I haven't found a better location in the area. Read more

The service by the wait staff is excellent. The manager and the owner are both excellent people who are the right fit for this establishment. This is a neighbourhood 'pub' where the patrons and the staff are accomodating, friendly and there is a family feel to the pub. My spouse and I are regulars there now and have enjoyed many meals prepared by their cooks. The meals range from appetizers to their many entrees: toasted western sandwich to the sirloin steak done to perfection. Whatever they prepare is done very well. Only once have I had a complaint but there was a new cook on staff. Things are great now. Try this pub out for a meal and a couple of drinks, you will not be disappointed. Have a game of pool or darts while listening to your favourite music on the techically advanced "juke box". It's not the same anymore. "Come on in to a place where everybody knows your name." Cheers!
