Their fish and chips is amazing...best fried fish I have ever tasted...not greasy at all, the batter was unique to what I've ever experienced before and absolutely delicious. Salads are excellent and portions for all food is large. Excellent value for the meal portions and taste of the food. Atmosphere is very relaxing - casual dress. I visit Kelseys on a month basis, isometimes it with 4-6 girlfriends for dinner before a movie, or 8+ people for a birthday celebration or lunch with a friend. In the past several years I have only had (1) negative experience, and when I brought that to the franchise owners attention, he went above and beyond what any other place has done when things have gone wrong. This is a very busy establishment and if you go, please expect to wait, don't go especially during the dinner hour is you have to be somehwere in an hour, i's not going to happen. I find the staff friendly, well versed in the menu and always willing to please..it's ALL In how you ask or go about voicing your complaint...try to be tactful and you will receive better results. Remember many of these people that work these jobs are pain minimum wage...sure they get tips..but having been a waitress (20+ years) ago...the public is the most demanding and many believe that they are entitled to more than what they are receiving. Have always had a keen enjoyment of this restaurant since my wife introduced me to it 6-7 years ago! As others have noted, the interior decor could be improved upon. The wait-staff are also overtaxed when it is busy (quite frequently)...and usually a bit of a wait when ordering for take-out (so order an hour or two in advance so not to be disappointed...on New Years...order in the morning for dinner pickup time!!)...the spring rolls are excellent as is the chicken satay! Other main dishes are great also depending on your preferences. After having tried a few Thai places in Toronto...our Thunder Bay Thai restaurant is definitely much better!!!
