Like many places in Harrison, Kitami suffers from staffing problems, and so the owner often works the entire room by herself, with a bit of help from kitchen staff who come out when she is overwhelmed. If you can take a chance on timing, though, it is well worth the wait. Their sushi is excellent, both in quality and variety. The cooked foods are also very good. We love the sweet potato tempura.
