We went to this place with our kids. The servers were friendly and attentive.The decor is simple, just like the Japanese style. We loved the foods we ordered - authentically Japanese with fresh sashimi and the salad was really good.The tempura was really crunchy and tasty.The cold tempura soba was authenically Japanese. We could have unlimited refills of miso soup and rice with sashimi dinner. Being Japanese myself, I highly recommend this restaurant. (my canadian family also loved this place,too)

I wasnt able ro visit the location in person, however the correspondence over the phone and courtesy was amicable for a four star rating on atmosphere. I didnt feel rushed even though I had many questions before and while placing my order and hope to bring my family into the restaurant to dine next time so we can honestly give five stars all across the board.

I never expect I can find a place where you can have a good food and service. First time when I went in Lotus Garden for lunch, I was little worry about place because outside sings were looked old. But i was surprised the food and service were excellent. Especially the Slat and pepper Chicken wing and Crispy Squid, on My gosh, they are amazing . At the same time, their service were friendly and they can play jokes with you. just like you are their friend. their atmosphere is very suitable for eating and you can relax. especially the classic Chinese music, really interesting and enjoyable. I strongly recommend this restaurant for your friends and family.

Best buffet in Ontario. We have always dined at this location. Management listens and are very attentive to customer needs. It is always clean, has excellent service, friendly atmosphere, fresh foods, great desserts, hot and sour soup best we have ever had, replenished items often, very affordable, grilled meats, sushi very good, calories per serving displayed on each item, great location, easy to get to and never so crowded you do not want to enter. Though the place doesn't look the most appealing, the food is great and incredibly cheap. You can get the "lunch" specials anytime of the day. The server is polite, but don't expect to get much more then your order taken and your food delivered. The food was very fast and fresh, and tasted great. You get a ton of food and the price is reasonably low. Dinner for 2 ends up being pkgd up with leftovers, more like Dinner for 4! We now make it a point on purchasing Chinese Food from Port Colborne, though it's a half hour drive from where we live it's worth the trip. I'm not sure why it took so long to try this place out, after all, it's only 5 minutes away from my house. I'm glad I did, as it was a nice surprise.
Featuring quite a big menu, with some good specials, there is something for everyone here. As with most Chinese restaurants, the portions are very big, but I found the prices to be lower than normal. The quality of the food and the speed at which it was cooked was impressive. With the exception of the egg rolls (which are obviously precooked and heated up), everything tasted hot and fresh.
Very friendly guys work there and delivery is free over a certain amount. They do need to add a tip column to their receipt when they deliver though!
All in all, a great little Chinese take-out place that I will definitely use again. The 'Atmosphere' is pretty irrelevant since it's really only take-out. There are 3 or 4 tiny tables in there, but I can't imagine anyone using them.

Faced with an 8 page menu, exhaustive in its range of enticing descriptions of Japanese and Korean food, I opted to sample the former side by having soup, salad and appetizers (3 as it turned out). I love miso soup and have had incarnations of it in many places in Canada and abroad but this broth was simply fabulous in the depth and complexity of what is often a flat, watery introduction to a meal. The poky salad (fresh tuna, julienned seaweed, etc.) was vibrant, flavourful and spicy as advertised.
I started my appetizer foray with mandu yaki (small homemade dumplings with a combo of 8 different ingredients) and tako yaki (fried minced octopus balls with a unagi and katsu sauce on the side). Can you say FABULOUS?. Having washed it all down with warm sake, I rested for a while and then tackled a tempura dish: soft shelled crab (4 pieces) with a ponzu sauce. Cheer again.
Service was attentive and friendly and relaxed especially when the young lady and John, the son of the owner realized that I wasn't in a hurry. (I was honoured with a tempura zucchini sample from the owner's garden (in the back he said when I mentioned that he had tomatoes growing in the front). This is simply wonderful food, presented with smiles and pride by people who love doing what they do.
I can't wait to return and try some deeply Korean dishes of which there is an abundance on that wide-ranging menu.
