I have been going to Kenora for years but had always passed by Casey's because it didn't look like anything special from the outside. But finally I went in and WOW! The menu was very impressive and had a wide array of family type food (burgers, steak and crap) but all with some kind of gourmet twist, like lamb or bison burgers with blue cheese or something like that. The drinks were awesome, the staff excellent, atmosphere great and the food better. Prices were also very reasonable, a definite recommendation! oh yeah sweet potato fries are a must!

I’ve found that lately certain locations have really gone downhill but I was pleasantly surprised by the Kildare location in transcona. They mixed up my toppings but fixed it immediately and upsized my pizza at no charge. I had the original thin crust and it was awesome. Thin and crisp but not overdone and the toppings went right to the edges. I was very impressed with the pizza and the very friendly service. This is definitely my new location. We eat at Jonesys at least once a week. The food is always hot and fresh and tasty. The prime rib with Yorkshire pudding on weekends is tender and delicious and the Yorkshire pudding is so good, I feel like I'm in England. Also they make excellent ribs and steak too. Dinners include homemade soup or a salad and the portions are big. We always leave with full bellies.

The meal was plain jane, for the price i expected alittle more flare. The restaurant was empty which tells me a story in itself. The meal was skimpy, it was served on a large plate with the small steak which was chewy, a few carrots, and 2 roasted potatoes off to the side, which made the plate look empty. the soup (which was extra, and cost $5) was in the smallest bowl i have ever seen and only half full, the same with the creme boule. I must say though that the caesar salad was delicious, and the coffee was very good. It had been 10 yrs since my last visit because of poor food and i dont think i will try it again, in the near future.

We were all totally impressed with the food. We have dined here 3 or 4 times in the last 8 months and all times were very impressed.
Their fish and chips is amazing...best fried fish I have ever tasted...not greasy at all, the batter was unique to what I've ever experienced before and absolutely delicious.
Salads are excellent and portions for all food is large. Excellent value for the meal portions and taste of the food.
Atmosphere is very relaxing - casual dress. The wait staff are competent and pleasant.
We look forward to going back again and again, as we've never been disappointed.
