Hey! I recently found out that I am alergic to wheat of all things, so I figured I was condemned to a no pizza existence, which for me is a fate worse than death. BUT WAIT! Last week I went to my old buddy Pizza Bob's plave in Calgary, and tied something new. A gluten free pizza! That means, it has no wheat flour at all. I had the newest gluten free offering, which was the gluten free pulled pork. WHOA! Instead of tomatoe sauce, they have a buttery pork kind a gravy on it. Anyways, the sauce was amazing, and the pizza was the best I ever had at Pizza Bobs. I actually enjoyed it MORE than my usual, which used to me "Ami's Favorite". Wow, I hope more restaurants start serving gluten free food, because I was amazed that it could be so good. How about a gluten free bagel or croisant? Do they exist? I'm gonna find out. Try this pulled pork pizza, if you don't flip over it, I will be shocked. Yummie! Of course, the rest of my Pizza Bob experience was the usual... great friendly people, live blues music and Kareokee on the weekends. Kensington rd at crowchild. I love it. Read more

My family went to Showhome furniture this afternoon. What an amazing furniture shop! The kids were entertained with a fairy scavenger hunt so my husband & I had over 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to shop for dining room chairs. We were assisted by Emily. She is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, & has a no pressure approach that was very appreciated. We ended up buying 8 dining room chairs and a beautiful large rustic coffee table. Took my wedding ring and bands to have them up sized as I’m getting arthritis in my finger. I also asked them to look at my ring as it looked a bit crooked and i wasn’t happy with the claw rebuild i’d had done at another jewellers. They found a crack in a claw, fixed it, upsized my rings and polished them all up beautifully. So happy with the price and service I will not hesitate to have any of my jewelry serviced here in the future. Can’t recommend them enough! Read more
