This is a great resort. I have stayed here multiple times over the years for both work and personal. The log cabins are cute and remote which makes it very relaxing. The property is very kid friendly, but also caters to adults through the Grotto. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a weekend away. We rented three of these cabins last spring for a family reunion and it was perfect. They aren't very fancy but are right on the water and perfect for families on a budget. Each has two bedrooms and a pull out couch. My grandfather is elderly and can't walk far so it was perfect for him to watch the ocean from the living room or the front yard. They mentioned they were doing renovations so not sure if they are fancier now but it was like going back to Tofino before it became a world renowned tourist destination. Read more

Our family of 7 - hubby and 5 girls decided to stay at the Hospitality Inn on our visit to Port Alberni. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating - we wanted 2 rooms close to each other and of course near the pool and hot tub area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The fridge and microwave came in handy with the baby. They were nice enough to provide us with a playpen for the night. The kids swam until 10Pm in the pool with dad while my oldest daughter and I had a bite to eat in the restaurant. If we ever decide to visit again we will stay at the Hospitality inn. Read more
