Having worked in the food industry for most of his life, Kevin Brown brings a great deal of experience to his role as restaurant owner. After working with his father until he retired, Kevin started up KB Foods in 2012.
Embracing the practice of using solely local and organic food, KB Foods buy all of their menu ingredients from local farmers. Through this process, KB Foods guarantees customers are getting the freshest, highest quality food available.
“We have a good relationship with most of the local farmers,” says Kevin. “All of our vegetables are grown locally. We also buy our meat from local farms and do a lot of our own butchery too.

Fantastic first time experience ! We went for Father’s Day with our family . Our server George was - top notch ! Professional , friendly , knowledgeable and entertaining - set a great vibe . Food was delicious ! Definitely recommend and we will be returning again. ?
I was at KB for my birthday and I loved it! The atmosphere was fun and funky. The menu options were so tantalizing I had a hard time narrowing down my choice - the steak was tender and juicy, the raw oysters and duck wings were amazing! I had the Whiskey Sour specialty cocktail and have now called that my summer drink - delicious! The pear tart for dessert was a sweet dream. Our server was lovely, attentive and made us feel at home. I cant wait to go back!
The service is always excellent. the Duck pate is so smooth and flawless. The Duck breast was cooked perfectly. The venison was also done a perfect MR. everything was flawless. Worth every penny.
AMAZING, delicious original recipes that you won't find anywhere else. All of the ingredients are fresh from the surrounding area, supposedly they don't even own a freezer. Mostly organic and gluten free. Cheap booze.
The food was good but the service was probably the WORST in all of Durham! I'd only be back if the hostess was replaced with someone competent and the waitstaff properly training. Very disappointing.
