Endroit agréable et bien placé avec de très bon cocktails. La nourriture est excellente et originale mais les quantités sont très petites pour le prix. Service parfait.
I really enjoyed this place. The staff were extremely friendly and were actually very helpful throughout the night. The food was good. Would recommend for a 5 a 7, friend/romantic dinner, and a drink hang out.
The food at Assommoir is correct for me and I love the variety of cocktails that they have, I think that's what I like the place the most other than its beautiful decoration.
If you're looking for fine dining in a casual atmosphere, this is it! Although the service could be better, the food is outstanding. They offer a wide selection of wines and a menu to suit many tastes.
Went twice for special occasions and was not dissapointed!
Try their "carnivore platter" which 4-5 people can easily share.
The music is loud so request a table upstairs if you want a more intimate setting or stick to the front of house if you want to party!

Fantastic decor, great food and drinks.
If you want a more lively and vibrant ambiance, stick to the first floor. If you want a more personal feel, the back room or the second are great.
Chosse amongst the book of drinks (litteraly hundreds of possibilities) and if that's not enough, have the barman (or mixologist...) create a custom drink based on your gout du moment.
I strongly recommend this place for carnivores... their grilled meat platter is strong!
