Anishinabe Tallcree First Nation, located in northern Alberta near Fort Mermillion consists of seven reserves across over 20,000 acres. Many can trace their origins back to Montana, where they were driven out after the 1868-1886 war. Ogimak Big Bear or Sitting Bull led them up to Canada.
